PROCEDURE

OF PURCHASE

Thank you for your interest in purchasing a puppy from us, we are excited to assist you in the process.  Purchasing a puppy requires careful consideration and we are pleased that you have chosen Cavoodles by Melanie as your breeder.

I regularly update my Instagram page with information on upcoming litters and when I will open my waitlist to take names.  I require a $500 deposit to be added to the waitlist.

MY WAITLIST IS OPEN.

Finial selection of which pup will be allocated to you is done via photos at 6 weeks of age when pups are microchipped, vet checked etc.  You will be able to follow the puppies growing through photos and videos posted on Instagram.

The deposit is non-refundable for change of mind or change of circumstance.  It is only refundable if at 8 weeks upon meeting the puppy you decide against taking he or she (which never happens because they are all so gorgeous!!).

Pups are only on hold once the deposit has been made.  Therefor - if you have not put the deposit through and someone else enquires, they will be prioritised.

Once we have confirmed selection of puppy, a photo update will be sent at 7 weeks and a time for viewing/collection is arranged.  Viewing and collection are strictly done at 8 weeks.

We do this as yet another measure to ensure the pups health and ensure they are not exposed to stress prior to going to their new homes.

Information will also be sent to you via text as to what we recommend to get ready for initially bringing puppy home.  I provide an information pack when you collect your puppy and spend time going through all of your questions, as well as provide a puppy pack with a few things to help get you started.

Viewings are only done at 8 weeks.  All going well you can take your puppy home on the same day.

We do not hold puppies past the allocated pick up dates, however if for instance your pup can go on a Wednesday and you prefer to collect on the Saturday to spend time settling it in then that is fine.

(I do not conduct tours of my home and dogs or allow visits.  When I have an approaching litter I am very happy to answer questions over the phone and always have photos and videos of my premises on social media, so am quite transparent without letting too much of our family privacy being impacted upon.)
